Ruth has been employed by the Office of the Secretary of Education and the Arts since November 2001 as an Accounting Technician II. Her primary focus is Accounts Payable but she also performs other accounting duties as assigned. Previously, she worked for Purity Baking Company (Flowers Bakery) and Tyler Mountain Water Company for a combined total of 32 years. She is a graduate of Ansted High School and Charleston School of Commerce.
Ruth enjoys participating in church activities and is a member of the Jolly Seniors. She is the mother of two and grandmother of three. She and her special cat reside in Charleston.
